Leslie Blankenship

Leslie joined Horizon Financial Services in August of 2021. She handles many accounting and finance duties including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and she assists with payroll. In her back-office support role, Leslie is responsible for reporting, new business submissions, and providing account reallocation information. She also helps manage our database and assists with insurance carrier contracting, licensing, and annual renewals.

Prior to joining Horizon Financial, Leslie was a licensed Property and Casualty insurance agent for 29 years and was also a licensed Life & Health insurance agent for 21 years. She worked for an insurance agency in Greensboro for more than 17 years handling agency-billed, surplus lines insurance policies and previously worked for her father’s Allstate agency in Lexington for 12 years handling many aspects of the agency’s daily operations.

Leslie has been married to her husband, Brad, since 1992 and has resided in North Carolina for the majority of her life. She has one daughter, Taylor, and one grandson, Lucas. She most enjoys weekend getaways with the family, close friends, and her dog, Cooper, “glamping” at campgrounds nearby.
