Julie Sayers
Director of Finance & Operations
Julie serves as the Director of Operations and Finance at Horizon, where she is responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all business processes. In addition to financial planning and reporting, Julie also manages key operational areas such as accounts payable and receivable, corporate financial compliance, and human resources functions, ensuring the company remains financially sound and compliant with industry regulations. She also oversees the company’s marketing efforts.
Before joining Horizon, Julie spent more than seven years as the office manager for a law firm in Kernersville. In this role, she not only managed daily operations but also played a key role in driving the firm’s marketing initiatives and enhancing client services.
Julie holds a B.A. in Communications from North Carolina State University, where she and her husband, Bryan, met in golf class. After spending a few years in Wyoming hiking and skiing, they made their home in Winston-Salem in 1999 and welcomed their daughter, Emma in 2009. Julie and her family share a love for travel, the outdoors, and spending quality time with family and friends.
